“The purpose of art is to raise people to a higher level of awareness than they would otherwise attain on their own” - Brassai

'When language can struggle, symbols and stories can generate new ways of thinking and to some lesser or greater degree, art has always done this. At its worse level it can be used in propaganda and at it's best, can inspire self belief! Maybe this explains why the Minoans were so successful; they grew up surrounded by images of achievement and may have actually lived their own narrative of encouragement!'

Morgan's paintings are on surfaces of various stone, marble, roof tiles etc. Media worked with consists of oils, acrylics, chalk, charcoal and pastels. Images used are based on ancient Minoan frescoes as well as Mycenean, Etruscan and Roman frescoes, all influenced by their predecessors' unique style.
